NCC’s mission is to reduce the suffering of cancer patients and their families by meeting their unfulfilled needs. NCC provides medical and financial relief, research and educational programs throughout the world in an effort to improve the cancer patient’s quality of life.

Provides information about ovarian cancer symptoms, diagnosis, treatment, and questions to ask the doctor along with literature, statistics, screening, testing, and other resources for ovarian cancer.
National Ovarian Cancer Coalition (NOCC)
The mission of NOCC is to raise awareness and increase education about ovarian cancer. The Coalition is committed to improving the survival rate and quality of life for women with ovarian cancer.
National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship
The National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship is the oldest survivor-led cancer advocacy organization in the country, advocating for quality cancer care for all Americans and empowering cancer survivors. NCCS believes in evidence-based advocacy for systemic changes at the federal level in how the nation researches, regulates, finances, and delivers quality cancer care.
Ovarian Cancer National Alliance
The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance is the foremost advocate for women with ovarian cancer in the United States. To advance the interests of women with ovarian cancer, the organization advocates at a national level for increases in research funding for the development of an early detection test, improved health care practices, and life-saving treatment protocols. The Ovarian Cancer National Alliance educates health care professionals and raises public awareness of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer.

The Association of Cancer Online Resources, Inc. is a non-profit organization that is a collection of cancer-related on-line mailing lists, which delivers over 1.5 million e-mail messages to subscribers across the globe. ACOR develops and hosts state-of-the-art Internet-based knowledge systems that allow the public to find and use credible information relevant to their illness.
Survivors Teaching Students: Saving Women’s Lives
Survivors Teaching Students brings ovarian cancer survivors into health professionals’ classrooms to share their stories and key information about the disease. The program has grown to include 81 medical schools around the country as well as 33 nurse practitioner, nursing and physician assistant training programs and schools.
Support Connection, Inc., offers free, confidential, emotional, social and educational support services to women, their families and friends affected by breast and ovarian cancer. The support enables women to help each other and empowers them to become their own health care advocates.

Gilda Radner Familial Ovarian Cancer Registry
The Registry is a national computer tracking system that stores data for women with two or more close relatives who have been diagnosed with ovarian cancer and offers education, information and a Helpline with peer support for women at high risk (family history) of ovarian cancer.
HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation
The mission of the HERA Women’s Cancer Foundation is to stop the loss of women from ovarian cancer through empowerment. The foundation is a nationally recognized ovarian cancer nonprofit organization funding cutting edge research grants to leading young scientists at respected medical institutions. In so doing it expands the scientific understanding of ovarian cancer while improving the lives of those battling this disease.
