Rebecca Dole graduated from Carleton College where she studied natural sciences and then shifted to biology and medicine. She graduated from the University of Colorado School of Medicine in 2011 and received a special notice for completing the Women’s Health Track. She is currently a pediatrics resident at the University of Utah. She lives in Salt Lake City with her husband.

Elizabeth Howard is the principal of Broadbridge International Group Ltd., a corporate communications and marketing consulting firm she founded in 1987. Elizabeth has been an active advocate for ovarian cancer and was CEO of the Ovarian Cancer Research Fund from 2007-2009.

Monica Knoll

Monica Knoll passed away in 2011 after fighting both breast and ovarian cancer.   After being diagnosed with breast cancer she founded CANCER101 in 2002.  The mission of CANCER101 is to empower cancer patients and their caregivers to take control over their diagnoses from the moment they learn they have cancer.  Having a plan of attack, the means to stay organized, and access to appropriate resources and information is half the battle to getting through a cancer diagnosis.  Monica’s dedication to helping the cancer patient and her beauty, grace and joyous personality were an inspiration to the Project Hope team and to all who met her.

Brad Schneider formed Cadence Consulting Group, LLC and Lead-Out Capital Partners, LLC in 2008.  Brad’s career has been in strategic consulting assisting organizations in defining and articulating their missions and goals; developing and implementing their business strategies around those goals; and designing and building effective organizations appropriate to those strategies.

Gloria Sidnam

Gloria Sidnam’s career, spanning over 35 years, was in the advertising business. She served as Vice President and Creative Director at Ogilvy & Mather for 15 years.  She serves on the Women’s Board of Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center and was the Director of the Flower Program.  She serves as a docent at the Metropolitan Museum of Art

Naomi G. Tamerin, MD
Pathologist
Greenwich, Connecticut

Dr. Naomi Tamerin is a graduate of NYU School of Medicine and holds board certification in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology. For many years she was Director of Laboratory Medicine at Hudson Valley Hospital Center in Peekskill, New York, where she chaired the Ethics Advisory Committee.  Dr. Tamerin is a preceptor in the “Medicine, Patient, Society” course at Weill-Cornell Medical School and the “Patients, Doctors and Communities” course at Albert Einstein College of Medicine.  She has also been appointed to the Board of Health in Greenwich, Connecticut.

Marsha Tanner Wilson, MPH

Marsha Tanner Wilson serves as Director of Communications and Advocacy Relations for the Foundation for Women’s Cancer (formally the Gynecologic Cancer Foundation), which was founded by the Society of Gynecologic Oncologists in 1991.  The goal of the Foundation  is to promote public awareness about the prevention, early detection and optimal treatment of gynecologic cancers, and to fund research and training.

Judith G. Youngwood

Judith  Youngwood  was an early member of the Project Hope Team who succumbed to ovarian cancer in 2008.  Her superior intellect, determination and courage was and continues to be an inspiration for the Project Hope Team.She was a longstanding trustee of The Jewish Board of Family and Children’s Services and served on many key board committees.
